I-10 and NEW MEXICO

I-10 cuts through the southwestern corner of New Mexico on its way to El Paso, Texas. The one highlight is at Santa Teresa: the War Eagle Air Museum. Even though Santa Teresa is in New Mexico, you access it from exit 11 in Texas. This museum has a fine collection of restored aircraft from World War II and the Korean conflict. Some favorites are the P-51 Mustang, the P-38 Lockheed lightning, and the Curtis P-40. They even have a few German aircraft but I don't remember which ones they are. The museum also has a few vintage automobiles. When we were there the admission was only five dollars but, for being senior citizens, we got a one dollar discount.
